This company portrays itself as an online auction, but it costs 60 cents per bid and more often than not it takes 100 or more bids to attempt to win the auction on whatever item is up for bid. I've gone through $2800.00 in less than 2 weeks due to my uncontrollable urge to continue bidding on their website. I'm overdrawn on my checking account and behind on my rent as a result of being scammed by quibids. Please help me to get back whatever money i can.

We are extremely sorry that you have had a bad experience on QuiBids. Let me take a few moments and explain how the website works.
We are an "Entertainment Shopping" website. That means that we exist to sell customers a product, while affording them an opportunity to be entertained at the same time. The goal of QuiBids for the customer is this; you find an item on the site that you would like to buy, then with the bids you have purchased, you attempt to first win the item. If you win the item, then great! You have just received the item you were already going to buy at a discounted price. If you do not win the item, then you still have the opportunity to use the bids you placed to purchase the item you were otherwise going to buy in the first place.
That being said, QuiBids cannot control how every customer uses the site. If a customer decides to come on the website, and they use a lot of bids on a few different items just to try and win them, and then they do not exercise the Buy Now option, QuiBids cannot be held responsible for that individual refusing to take advantage of the way the website works.
