Counsil Plumbing (license 926756) provides false information on work. Counsil Plumbing was asked by the property management company of the home I rent to make an appointment with me, the tenant, to give an estimate on the repair of a non-functioning shower/tub. An appointment was made with Counsil Plumbing for January 28th 2013. I met Mike, the owner, at my home. He was here for approximately 15 minutes. He looked at my bathroom, turned the water on and off, and said that the current parts are low quality and that if he replaces the cartridge it will simply clog up again. He stated that the pipes in the house need to be replaced. He did NO work. While at my home he stepped outside and called the property manager to let them know that the pipes needed to be replaced. At that time, unbeknownst to me, he also told the property manager that he had cleaned out the cartridge to allow for more water flow. He in fact did not do this. He did not perform any service. In support of the lie to the property manager an email was sent from Valerie of Counsil Plumbing to the property manager that the cartridge was cleaned.
By providing false information to the property manager my shower is still non-functioning. The Property Manager believes that the shower cartridge was cleaned.
I called Valerie at Council Plumbing and relayed this information to her. She denied any wrong doing. She stated that her email was based on what the technician (her husband) told her. I told her there was another person in the house at the time who could confirm that nothing was done and she said she did not care. She stated that a fix (replacing pipes) was given to the property manager.
This company provides false information in hopes of getting a more lucrative job. This company is completely unethical and morally deceptive in their practices.
