I purchased a book for class advertised as "Data Analysis and Decision Making - With Access" ie the access code to use the publisher's provided tools to complete my work online is included. When the book arrived the access code was removed. I complained to the company about the false advertisement and they said that I should purchase another book and return this for a full refund. I cannot do that as my class has already begun. When I purchased the book I priced around and other sellers listed their books for $85 but they specifically listed them "without access code". I paid $143.42 logically assuming the listing was correct as it costed more because it included the access code.
