my personal e-mail was sending out scam e-mails from my yahoo account when i went on to yahoo help i thought i was calling yahoo. i feel so gullible. the guy said i could go to office depot to the problems fixed but that my IP address was under attack and being routed through foreign addresses. once they were given control of my computer they showed me that 3 of five major components of my computer were being compromised. i refused to pay them and told the guy why i thought they were a scam once i said that word he became irate and said that if he typed my name we would find that i had scammed people. he story changed in his anger he first told me that over 50 people were working there and then it became over 1,000 wow talk about a spontaneous population explosion. anyway since then they tried to reestablish the connection and called me several times. i don't take their calls but i'm totally creeped out. they have a bunch of my personal information. I'm sure glad that i didn't give them my credit card information. i hope this helps warn other people about these scammers
