The bidding process is obviously manipulated, although Quibids blames it on "heavy internet traffic"...even in the middle of the night. I have the fastest internet connection offered by Charter Communications, and I don't seem to have problems with lagging like this at other times...especially in the middle of the night or wee hours of the morning. Numerous, numerous times, I've constantly gotten knocked off as highest bidder even in the last 15 seconds of the bidding, yet when I try to outbid someone else when there's only 15-30 seconds left on the clock, I'm always told, that I waited too long to bid and that the auction has now closed. They actually start you off on what they call a "beginners' auction", where they are sure to hook you by letting you win one or two little things...like 25 more points to bid with or a cover for an IPad which they hope you will bid on later, but never get to win. Quibids is nothing but a scam! Deborah Morris
