I started to talk to this girl Yolanda through a web site called MeetMe in October 2012. We exchanged a few messeges on the site. After a few days and a good number of replies she then felt as if it would be best to talk through email. Her story is that she was was in Nigeria visiting her mom and staying at a hotel. Her mom got sick and needed help to pay her medical bills. She claims to have had sold her belongings and gave the hotel her passport and documents as collateral. Over in the course of that month i had send 3 transactions that equal $1000usd. She had then missed her flight because she had stayed back to take care of her mom. Now she needs $1850 for a one way flight back. I told her it would take time. In the meantime we would continue to talk about ourselves. I would check back at the site MeetMe to reread our convos and look over her profile. after a month or so of talking her profile was deleted. When questioned why, she says that she had found her man, and no longer needs to belong to such site. January comes and she is getting axious to meet me and shes is need of some cash for an up keep. So i send her an extra $100. Im still messeging her waiting for her next reply. But i think ive heard enough about identity frauds from tv, news, friends, and the internet. Ive kept tracked of all emails and Money transfer via Western Union.
