I found a website on Pinterest called TiffanyFreeRuns.com that had Nike Free Runs and other tennis shoes for a discount; most of them were half off or more. I began to order a pair, and although I thought the website was sketchy at first, I noticed that the ordering and payment pages had a "https://" prefix, so I assumed they were secure. I did think it was odd, though, that there was no "about us" tab on the home page where I could learn about the company, shipping was a steep $20, and there was no information about where the shoes would be shipped from.
I immediately knew I had made a mistake when as soon as I placed the order, I got a shady-looking confirmation email from "YoursPay" saying that the payment amount on my statement would be slightly different from the "real price." What?! The phone numbers on the email are definitely Asian, and none of the help links in the email work. There is also nowhere on the website to cancel my order. help
