Complaint 20190 Details

I took 19 pieces of jewelry in to get cash for it and wanted all my diamonds back.Which was 20 small 1's or so about 1/16 carats,a pendent with 3 GOOD diamonds(which WAS a keepsake past, future&present)equaling a total of carat. With another ring that had 7 smaller diamonds w/1 bigger 1 in the center.Equaling about half a carat. The receipt I received only says "all" and no one took sizes or qualities of the diamonds. So i have no proof now and one word against the other. I have 3 diamonds he gave me in replace of my stones & NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same quality but the man says I'm just crazy & prove it!! I can't as I knew nothing about trying to protect myself against this.I should have had the diamonds taken out right then (what could be).And written down more info on them. I want others to no how to protect themselves as MANY people trying to make extra cash in such hard times. And the $ I got was NOTHING FOR WHAT I SHOULD HAVE!
