My son purchased a pwc gold protection warrenty as well when he purchased his used 2003 1500 Dodge pickup truck from a used car dealer. We also believe that this co in fradulent in the terms written in protection plan we signed and received for 1000.00. We were lead to believe that the warrenty was worth the money if any problems arose with the used vehicle as long as you followed their list of steps in repairing. Let me just say this warrenty has been useless in any of the issues it says it covers with the problems we had with my sons truck. This is the second issue that we put a claim on after calling to be reassure that they will cover rear ends as it indicates under what it covers on warrenty protection plan. I called to make sure that what it said was in fact true, and was reassured that if in fact once taken to a reputable dealer. and they indicated the same thing we were told by family members who work on vehicles that it would be covered. So we took the truck on Monday after new years, Jan 7, to Griffin Motors, in Meadville, Pa because my son who was driving home for Christmas on Dec 24 noticed that their was a loud noise coming from the rear end. So he had no vehicle all thru Christmas and New Years because of the hoiday vacation and the soonest to get in was Jan 7. Waiting to hear what was wrong from dealer, who also indicated that they never have any luck dealing with this warrenty co,and was told "they don't like paying for anything, from their experience." I ended up calling warrenty Co on Jan 10th and they told me that the dealer told them it was the rear end that needed replaced, which is what we thought, but they needed to send an adjuster up to verify what the dealer said,. I called the warrenty co on Tuesday the 15 because we hadn't heard anything from warrenty co. They indicated that someone went to dealer on Friday the 11 and indicated to them that they won't cover it because the pinion seal was cracked. They are blaming the problem on us because it wasn't lubricate correctly. The pinion seal is an internal piece of the pinion and ring of a rear end differential. The warrenty says under what they cover is: rear end differential and all internal parts. After the adjuster handling the case said she can give me a number to dispute department did I want it, I said yes and came across these other complaints that this company is fradulent in their warrenty and what they say it covers, with the fine print that is not anywhere on my paperwork that I signed when I purchased this warrenty.. So here my son is over a month with no vehicle, had to take one of ours, which leaves us in a bind. I mise well wipe my butt with this warrenty . I'm disqusted that not only did he get screwed from the dealer who sold the warrenty to us but also from a warrenty who reassured us before we bought it with a promise they now are going back on, just to take our money and rob us to get a sale. They are a joke and I would warn anyone ever considering to purchased a warrenty of this type not too., The dealers also refrain us now that its to late, that they are worthless.
We aren't made of money, nor have the means to just go and fix the issues with the truck and is why we purchased a warrenty thinking it would be a good thing incase we had problems with the used vehicle. Penn warrenty co should be ashamed of themselves and what they are doing or should I say no doing by not standing by their warrenties.

Chris, frustrated and beyond disgusted.
