We went to Billings Hotel and Covvention Center in Billings, Montana and met with Wayne Williams because we were interested in selling our Timeshare at Island Park Village, Idaho. We filled out all paper work, paid $3,471.00 which included 2012 maintenance fee. All paper work was sent to us, which we filled out. We waited for confirmation of the sale for about 3 months at which time we called the company and got what is ending up as 14 months trying to talk to simeone regarding the sale, but all that ever happened was waiting 0n the line for sometimes 30 minutes at which timr you were encouraged to leave a call back number which may have happened a couple of times with just excuses as to why nothing had been accomplished. In the meantime we received biss from Island Park for maintenance fees which our contract with Transfer Smart states that we would not be responsible for any further fees, but we have received numerous bills for the 2013 maintenance fees plus late fees, etc which now total 922.00 with a "Notice of Default and intent to Lien." Finaaly today, January 15, 2013 I finally was able to talk to a "person". She informed me that on January 8th, they mailed out new paper work for us to sign so another company that has a better relationship with Island Park will do the selling. My question as to why so much time has elapsed and why we were still receiving bills for maintenance fees was quickly met with "that is not may department, I cannot help you with that you must talk to the payment department which I will connect you with". I had already tried to talk with this department, but as always was told to leave my name and number and they would get back to me withing 24 - 48 working hours. I had done this several times and never heard back from anyone, but I left my name and number and am waiting to hear from them. To date, we have not received any further paper work and I am concerned that this is just another tactic to keep us from closing this nightmare of a deal.
