NOV 2012 I was reviewing the charges on my Walmart Moneycard when I
first notices a charge from this company WC MON VALUE PLUS with no phone
number listed to find out what it was for. When I called customer
service for my debit card I was told even they did not have a number to
call and suggested I search the company name on Google to find a number.
I did not realize they had been charging me for several months because
the charge was so non descriptive and I thought it had to do with my
Walmart Moneycard since it started with "WC MON" in their name. I come
to find out that this company has been ripping people off for a while
now and I call the 888-836-6877 number I found on Google. I told the
lady I spoke with to cancel whatever this was and all she could tell me
was that it was a membership. For what she could not even tell me but
she assured that it was cancelled and no further charges would be on my
card. She also said I could get a refund for the several months they
were charging me and she would send me a form in the mail to fill out.
Instead I got a letter stating that the charges were valid and that
there would be no refund! I reached out to Walmart Moneycard for help
to get my money back since I never authorized the charges nor did I receive any goods/services for the money that was taken from me. Instead Walmart upheld the charges claiming that WC MON VALUE PLUS really was authorized even though I never signed for anything, never ordered anything from them, and never received anything except for their non-descriptive letter telling me I would NOT be getting the refund the lady on the phone told me I could get! Outrageously, my Walmart Moneycard that had been getting my SSI direct deposited every month was cancelled on me because I filed a claim against WC MON VALUE PLUS, so my SSI got messed up and I even received a letter telling me my benefits were being stopped because the direct deposit payment had been returned to the Treasury!

I feel both companies have scammed me out of almost $150 and has now caused me numerous late fees on my other bills because I STILL haven't received my SSI all because I disputed the charges. This is totally messed up and completely unacceptable! I legitimately disputed charges that I KNOW I DIDN'T APPROVE and instead I'm being punished by my card company for even bringing it up! UNBELIEVABLE! Both companies have cheated me and have caused unnecessary anguish/stress on myself as well as my children! If there is ever a class-action lawsuit against either of these companies COUNT ME IN!!!!!
