I purchased the straightening iron from Glamour Beauty on Ebat and in the ad it did not state anywhere that it was only 110V and they knew the item was being sent to Australia and did not inform me at all that it was 110V and do I still want to go ahead with the order as we use 240V here. After I received the straightener I discovered it was only 110V so I then purchased a convertor to convert the current from 240V to 110V and the straightener would not switch on at all, after plugging in other appliances they would work. So I arranged to return the straightener for a refund and the postage would be refunded. I have now only been refunded the cost of the straightener because they are saying it is working and I am out $35 for postage to send it back and around $15 in postage for them to send it to me, when they should of said in the first place it was only 110V and is not compatible in Australia.

  • Seeking Resolution: I'm Looking for a Refund
  • Refund Amount: $ 50.00
