Approximately 3 weeks ago I received a call regarding a cash advance loan that was in default and informed that interest had accumulated and it is up to $700+. I was informed that they had a court order to present me at my residence or workplace to file a formal complaint. I was also threatened with enormous court cost which I could have to pay over $2500 if I was pursued in court. I was encouraged to send $200 to stop that procedure. Per instructions, I had to purchase a Visa Gift card for the amount. I was asked to call him back with that card number and also fax a copy of two (picture ID) and social security card. Yesterday, I received a call from MIcheal Johnson insisting on the balance of $500...otherwise with a few days---I will be served at my workplace. He refused to give me any information regarding the balance and stated that he was willing to work with me and accept $300.
