I am in the military and work the night shift so i sleep durring the day and about an hour into my sleep i get a knock at my door. While i didnt get to the door in time they were kind enough to knock again an hour later. I answered and they were two college age girls selling magazines and kept talking about public speaking and a trip to europe. I politly refused. A couple of hours later I get another knock, this time a charismatic young male. His story was consistant with the first couple his reciept book was covered in military pins and seemed to know alot about the military and surprisingly my home town(should have been A red flag (turns out they ran a scam there last year)) so i caved and ordered the cheapest set they had ($56.00) They had the adress of Saint Judes Childrens Hospital (red flag) and assured me the magizines would be sent there and put a little sticker on my door so that i would not be disturbed further. Luckily I did some research the next day and discovered it was a scam and placed a stop check ($20.00 bank fee but at least they wont see a dime from me).
