John Riley said he would sell our Las Vegas Timeshare for $21,000.00 He started by asking for $800.00. Then he would get to work on the paperwork. When the contract didn't come, I called and he said he would also sell 13 of our getaways for $2500 each. But he would need another $800.00 When the contract didn't come, I called again and he said he couldn't sell it for us because we hadn't paid the assessment. But he would have the buyer pay half if we would pay the other half. So we gave him another $800.00 We were to put the money into Jason Halbrook's checking account. I have his account number. Then we got a call from John's co-worker saying we had 5 more getaways and for $750 he would sell them for us. Then I called our Tahiti Village Timeshare head office and told them someone was trying to sell our getaways and timeshare. I wanted to know how many getaways we actually had. They chided me for getting involved with a scammer. I gave them his name and number. I then called John Riley back, told him what I had done and said that when the contract arrived (he said he sent it on Dec 28th) we would sign it and send it overnight,and would expect our money via overnight mail as well, although I didn't expect it.
