A friend needed a loan and was contacted by Sunny Mac Kenzie, sp, Loan Manager(he stated) with Cash Loans America. He informed him my friend he could get a $2,800 loan but would need to provide $190.00 for insurance in the form of a Money Pak Card because my friend was classified as a category 2 because of his low credit rating. I obtained the Money Pak from a nearby Walgreens and gave Sunny Mac Kenzie the information from the Money Pak Card he requested. He informed us that the $2,800 would be deposited in my friends bank account in five hours. Twenty to twenty one hours later, after numerous phone calls, I was able to reach Sunny MacKenzie. This was the next day of 1/8/2013. Mr. MacKenzie informed me that the processing department discovered my credit's friend was much worse than they realized and he was now classified as a category 3. This required one month's payment of the loan upfront of $280.00 in addition to the $190.00 they took the previous day. I asked why now this had changed and I was given several excuses. I asked several times for a refund of $190.00 and was told it was for insurance processing needs and the money was gone. This company is a scam! I want my money back!
