I signed up for a dating website on a day of desperation thinking the payment would only be £3 / three pounds... I was charged £18.xx
I tried to call and cancel the service but the phone service is just an automated answer phone charged at premium rates with no option to opt out - i emailed twice to confirm i wanted to cancel, yet they took out a further two payments of £39.99, so now nearly at loss £100 = $150 approx!! I have no money to pay for NYE party and had to borrow money to tax my car so I can work on Wednesday.... gutted.
Wish these Alcuda people could realise how it feels when you expect to have money in your account but suddenly it unexpectedly vanishes when you most need it.
I have contacted my bank and they are investigating this fraud with a hope to refund the money but as yet no joy :(
