This review is in regards to my horrible experience with Pet Airways..
IT IS A SCAM.....
My husband and I were looking for a companion for our little dog charlee. We did some research and came across two adorable puppies named KiKi and Tina on marketplace.com.

The add was listing two small yorkshire terrier puppies for $600 ($300 each). After emailing the "supposed" owner of the dogs back and forth she informed me that she was not interested in making any money off the puppies only that they go to a good home. So the $300 for the one puppy that we wanted was to cover shipping costs!

I told her that we were very interested in tina, She emailed me back two days later and told me that she had spent $55 to register the puppy, emailed me the "registration number" for the flight which would be on Pet Airways, assuring my husband and I through email, that she was using the best pet shipping company there is!! The puppy was supposedly located in seattle, WA with a "good christian family" and was to be shipped to my husband and I in Wisconsin.

After I had the registration number I called pet airways. A man with a very strong accent answered the phone, i could hardly understand him. He told me that I needed to send a money gram for $300 to cameroon. I told the man that I would send the money tomorrow and quickly got off the phone as something just didnt seem right!

My husband and I did some research....
1.Pet airways is located in FLORIDA? how is a puppy in WA going to get to WI from a company in florida?
2.send a money gram to cameroon? incase anyone is unsure of where this is...its in NIGERIA!!
3, after digging some more my husband found a review from another lady that had been scammed by the same lady (using a different name of course) by trying to buy two dogs named kiki and tina!

Since I emailed both parties last night, the posting for kiki and tina on marketplace.com has been removed!

THIS WAS A SCAM....needless to say i did NOT ever send any money and instructed both parties never to contact me again!! I hope that this review can help other people in the future!! Hopefully the next person will be as lucky as my husband and I and catch on to something like this before it goes to far!!
