Having read Rigel's complaint and looking at my recent experience, for the benefit of future consumers, i am
putting this in as a good internet citizen -

1. My experience appears to be similar to Nigel but not as drastic as just 4 bids and it's all gone. Rather, during the multiple bids, I discovered that my BID availibility seemed to have dwindled very fast - like 250 BIDs is gone in less than two hours and averaging 25 BIDs per item x about a dozen to less than 20 odd items. Approx. $99 - 3rd Bid Package category (with a guarantee for 3rd and 4th bid package) - payt on Saturday/Sunday midnight or Sunday/Monday

2. The false advertising I suspect is the iPAD (advertised sold at $0.74 - found that it was displayed as only one out of the number of BIDS that have been sold averaging in the hundreds), Samsung TV, iPhone, a "Reader'. Other than these four "major" items in 50 ++ pages of items, the other repeats were merely non branded gift watches, jewelry where the Retail price vs DealFun price advertised (i.e you can buy the item at a special if you fail in the BID and want to have it).

3. I also suspect that since there is no transparency behind the operation i.e can the operators out in "BIDs" of their own through mere IT access input (mouse clicks etc) - there is a possibility that customers like Rigel, myself and many others might have been outbid to present a case that the item was actually outbid by a paid BIDDER - that's a strong hunch. How I come to this conclusion waa that I came up with a strategy after watchig the BIDs and the popular items - the slightly more expensive and nicer items suddenly out of no where is franticcally challenging me in the BID when there is clearly several BID items within even a 15 min to 3 minute gap having BIDs at $0,01 and $0.03 but I fald to see the logic ehen the cost of th BID went to $6,00 - this is an observation and intuition.

4. Following from the above strategy and the way the BIDs are laid out, I knew where i had the best chances and I had them on DAY 2 - but bear in mind these are the "less' important ones that have been spead out randomly which may miss the eye of the operator or his 'loonies" attempting to frustrate BIDs and making chock full of easy BID money because the BIDs were unsuccessful.

5. Having said so, i have to give the guys the credit for being so innovative and scheming, with appearance to be all legal, and I m hoping that the items I won will be shipped and received which i reeckon will at least recoup about 75% in terms of a retial price for such items as a proportion of the BID package value of $99 which I bought. An REAL experience to be sure.

A SCAM?? well at least they may hav thought it out that they did give a product, provided a "guarantee", allowed to have some fun
at the expense of swindling BID monys from unsuspecting people like Rigel and me.
