Made a purchase, offered discount to apply for credit card, along with this came a magazine offer, 3 magazines free for 3 months, not charged for additional magazines if cancel before the 3 month expiration, canceled within a month all three, they said canceled everything, I suppose this was the magazine company, number was on credit card statement, I received a statement, with charge for one magazine, called and complained, so they said sorry we'll cancel now, everthing supposedly canceled, got new statement with same charge, late fee, fine etc, called Goody's told them they said they would delete the charge, but warned me that to be covered by the Fed protection law must put everything in writing to dispute the charge, so like I said my time is money, already cost more that price of magazine, Knew better than to do any auto ship, cancel anytime, been messsed over before on this kind of deal. if anyone else asks me to do one, they better be ready for a good cussing. so far have not paid in $ out of pocket, but whats all this time and effort worth, I think I will complain to the better business, and whoever else I can think of, ought to be a classaction suite against any company that does this.
