My daughter booked a flight in October from San Jose Ca to our area on the east coast. She received her itenerary and it stated that she would leave from San Jose to start her trip home. When she arrived at the airport she was informed that her departure was scheduled from San Jose Costa Rica not California. To make matters worse, I was informed that there would have to be an "investigation" to determine if they could give her back a refund even though the rep made the mistake. I contacted them and was transfered to a supervisor and that person then told me if they booked another flight for my daughter it would had to be at her expense. I explained to that person that I wasn't interested in a refund we just wanted the service that they agreed too. After attempting to speak to another supervisor I was "accidentally" disconnected. My daughter was then called by the rep. She told them she was upset and requested that they speak to me only. They said they would call me but that was four hours ago. Initially, I am sure that the mistake was an honest one because the reps don't speak fluent english but the fact that they refused to make good on a trip that they were paid for months in advance made my blood boil. The money that was lost pales in comparison to the toll it has taken on my family. It cost me an entire days pay and a ton of stress. I couldn't believe that they were affiliated with Orbitz. I have done business with them and it is totally the opposite of this companies actions. As for ebookers.com save your money and your sanity by not doing any business with them. They are not in the United States in spite of having a .com address and any money you give them will be at your own risk.
