If you go to http://www.theliquidationswarehouse.com you will find another liquidation company with the same product category, products, prices, descriptions and pictures.
The scamers don’t even change the name of the pictures they use, so a simple google search on the file name (chandra_hba19.jpg) will list the links to both www.factoriesliquidations.com and www.theliquidationswarehouse.com.
Another warning sign for International buyers is their very cheap shipping prices. Shipment of pallets from USA to Denmark was quoted by www.factoriesliquidations.com to 188 USD for 1st pallet and 100 USD for additional pallets. In comparison I won’t even be able to ship a pallet of 350 KG from UK to Denmark for this price. If their product or shipping prices seem too good to be true, they most likely are :0).
Another good check to make is to check the IP address. Make sure you receive emails from them and check their IP address for location. If the location is outside the US keep away from the website as it is most likely fake. Email correspondence with factoriesliquidations.com informed me that the IP address was "200.77.173.218”. The owner is a broadband company located in Mexico Chihuahua Cuauhtémoc and their customers are not likely to be based in the US and thus a scam.
I am not sure how consumers in different countries are protected against fraud. I will advise you to contact your bank if you have paid by bank transfer or Visa card, to see if they can assist getting your money back.
