I received a call from a lady who said that I had been chosen to receive a grant from the Government because I had not filed bankruptcy, had filed my taxes on-time and had no criminal record within the last 6 months for $9,200 that I would not have to pay back. All she needed was either my bank account information or a pre-paid debit card number. I knew it was a scam but I gave her a pre-paid debit card I wasn't using just to get the information from her so I could report it. The number she gave me to call is: (202) 470-1082 and the number she was calling from was: (206) 319-4400. I asked for a website and this is what she gave me. www.usagovernmentgrants.org She gave me a grant confirmation number of PA516 and said the funds would be deposited into the account once I call the number with the confirmation within 30 minutes.
