  • I also receive lots of these bogus job offers, which are intended to lure job seekers into a scam. The domains BestJobMark.com, usajobmark.com and freeusajob.com are registered to Fernando Zelmer (email address [email protected]) of Leon, France. He forges the headers to avoid being traced.

I've reported many of the emails to the originating IPs, but they're located in different countries. Maybe Zelmer has hacked their servers. I look up the originating IP (obtained from the full header) using whoismind.com and/or an IANA database. These usually list an email address to report spam. If not, you can look up the host domain on abuse.net for the reporting address.

I've also reported these emails to [email protected], which is the U.S. agency designated to investigate spam. When you forward the emails to them, be sure to display the full header by choosing "view full header" from the Actions menu above the email and copying it, and then pasting it in the forwarded message to replace the abbreviated header.

I created a new email folder labelled "junk" and used the Yahoo filters to direct emails with the bestjobmark and usajobmark domains within the message to the junk folder. That makes it easier to manage. After I've sorted everything else in my spam folder, I mark these messages spam to notify Yahoo that there's a problem. Then, I can easily delete all of the messages in my spam folder.
