I was in need of a loan to pay rent. I did the online option due to the convenience. Someone by the name of Ken Rogers (Indian accent) informed me 1st that I was approved for a $2000 loan. Due to the fact that I was at work I informed him I would call back, and never did that day. However, the next day same person from this company call with a different name and stated that I was approved for a $1200 loan. Still being in need of the money I proceed to take down the information and informed him once again I would need to call back. On the last time I spoke with this person he informed me that I was approved for a $1000 loan. Ok, that is fine I need the money. After sitting and getting the address and information about the loan he informes me to go to Western Union to receive the money (RED FLAG). Long story short, I ended my phone call by letting him know I did not want the loan because it did not sound legit. He was very eager to try and lure me back in with different tactics but I don't need money that bad. I have done payday loans before with other internet companies but this is the first time I have dealt with this type of scam. I will stick to the companies I have used in the past. Pleas beware of those types of companies. You SHOULD NOT have to pay someone money to receive money. And Western Union is not how they should do business. If that is the case there is no need for your checking account information.
