Dear sir,
I would like to bring to your attention an American Firm trading under the name of Vitalize Sylk Skin products. I was browsing the internet in august 2012 when their advert flashed on the screen, said ad has now been erased! Free sample of face cream. only p&p to pay "we are so convinced you will return, that we can offer this totally free". Too good to be true you bet it was! sent for my "Free" sample and waited for its arrival. When it arrived, £36 duty and handling charge was required to pay. I decided not to pay the duty and the sample was returned to sender. End of story? Oh no another package came, which I had not asked for. Imagine if you can, my horror, when my husband told me 2 payments of £63.41 had been debited from our credit card account. We rang Vitalyze got no reasonable answers, so we contacted barclaycard through whom we had paid the p&p. They advised us to ring Vitalyze again and "cancel" our subscription! What subscription, I had neither asked for one, authorised one, or signed up for one. We rang VitalYze again told them to cancel the account they said to return the products quoting an RME number which we did and our money will be refunded. Since then, we have constantly contacted Vitalyze a minimum of 14 calls to the USA, have we got any further? In a word NO. we have been promised numerous return calls none of which ever materialised, we have spoken to sometimes rude arrogant young men, one in particular "DALE" who put the phone down on us on Friday 8th December. we have not in anyway been agressive in our tone, all we want is our £126.41 refunded.
On futher investigation, we have found almost 200 other people who have also been Scammed by this firm. We hope that maybe you can help us to bring this situation to a close. All we are asking for is money returned to us for the simple mistake of thinking a "FREE" sample meant just that. We think that what this Firm is doing is Fraudulent echoed SO many times by what we have since dicovered about this firm.
