In August of 2008 Johnson Air Conditioning installed a new furnace and Air Conditioning system in my home in San Jose, CA. Johnson Air Conditioning exclusive lifetime warranty on installation, workmanship and duct work specifies that the warranty includes 10 year warranty on all parts, 10 year warranty on all labor, lifetime warranty on air conditioning compressor, and lifetime warranty on the furnace heat exchanger. In june of 2011 I called Johnson Air Conditioning because my Air Conditioning system was not working properly. It would not produce cold or cool air. When I called, the receptionist told me that Johnson Air Conditioning had closed their San Jose office and that they were working out of Stockton, CA and she was not sure if they would honor my contract / warranty. She said the Mr. Rod Johnson was taking care of all the San Jose customers and that she would pass my information on to him. She said that Mr. Johnson would call me to explain how they would handle my situation. She gave me the number to a technician who was handeling their San Jose custmers. I called that technician. He turned out to be the same technician who had installed my system originally. The technician told me that my system had a leak and that my cooling fluid (R-22) was low. He recharged my sealed system with more fluid. He charged me $150.00 for his service. He did not fix the leak. I contacted Johnson A/C and told them what had taken place, and asked if they were goin to honor my warranty. They asked me to send them a copy of my warranty and the bill from the tedhnician. I faxed them a copy of both. I called Johnson A/C again in July to check on the progress of my warranty the receptionist told me that she she would have Mr. Johnson call me to discuss the matter. My Air Condidtioning system is again not working correctly and I need the service of a technician again. I called Johnson Air conditioning and explained the past sitituation and informed them of my current problem. The receptionist told me that she would pass my information to Mr. Rod Johnson and that he would definately call me on Monday August 15th, 2011. Mr. Johnson did not call so on 8/26/2011 I call Johnson A/C again and told them that I still needed a technician and that Mr. Johnson has still not contacted me. She assured me that Mr. Johnson would call me the next week either Monday or Tuesday. I have called Johnson Air Conditioning phone number (209) 931-4100 five times since June 2011 and each time I call they tell me that Mr. Rod Johnson is takeing care of all San Jose customers and that he will contact me soon. My air conditioner is still not working correctly and Mr. Johnson seems to be avoiding me. I need help.
