Was contacted via email saying that my careerbuilder account (which I do have) had a new result for me to find work. This was emailed directly to my by phil richards from HR, who sent some very convincing emails, a contract and a website (that suddenly quit working 2 hours after I agreed) about the company.
Yesterday I recieved a package addressed to me, with things I didnt order. Unfortunately I already tipped this guy off that I know he is a scam, so he will probably run and hide now. I gave him my DL and home adddress info, but there is no money he can get from me. I was never going to use my own money to send their packages anyway, so, lesson learned. Be careful, this is a total scam. He wont return my emails after I asked him to reassure me that he was legit.

  • Thank you for helping spread a word of caution about these types of messages! Based on the information listed within your original post, the message in question does appear to be a payment processing (shipping) scam. It also appears to be a spoof message designed to appear as if it came from a legitimate source or 3rd party company in order to lend it credibility.

We recommend such messages be disregarded and any current or future correspondence attempts related to the message be ignored.
