This company is getting away with stealing, they charged a credit card of mine 6000.00. I was given a piece of paper at the end of my purchase and was told to write down three reasons I like the resort, so I did and signed my name , not knowing I was signing my right of recision away. They would not cancel the membership, but about 9 months later said they would credit back half of the amount if I would not use the facility. Now I am being sued for the balance and I feel Ocean Canyon owes the money not me.

We at Ocean Canyon Properties, Inc. and Ocean Canyon Travel pride ourselves in providing an exceptional private outdoor resort and travel membership product to outdoor and travel enthusiasts in the Southeastern United States. We have 8 resorts with over 11,000 members and our Ocean Canyon family includes 150 employees. We have a member services hotline to deal with all member questions, comments and complaints that may arise from the purchase of our memberships. Post sale, our member services department contacts all of our new members to review the membership product purchased and explain the member benefits.
The comments posted on this web site seem to evolve from a misunderstanding or a misconception of the membership features purchased by these individuals. Instead of contacting our member services department for a resolution to their issues, they have elected to go to a web site and anonymously post complaints. We stand behind our membership products, our resorts and the travel programs that we sell. You can see on our web site www.oceancanyon.com that we have many testimonials to the products and services that we offer our members. We are truly sorry that these few people are not satisfied with our product. We are one of the fastest growing companies in the industry, our executives collectively have over 80 years of industry management experience, and we strive to treat our members as family. Customer service is our number one goal.
Posting to an anonymous site like this doesn’t help anybody, except the owner of the site that gets revenue from Google advertisements. We monitor the internet proactively for any negative feedback and reach out to people resolve complaints. However, we can’t reach out to anonymous people. If the people who made these posts really want a resolution they should be speaking to our corporate member service department. An anonymous post won’t help resolve a problem, but a call to 888-567-5941 might.
