I placed a credit card order with Compudeals2U on Sunday and low and behold I receive two e-mails today to call 877-791-4418 to confirm the order. This is first, I thought. I called the number and three times someone picked up the phone, said hello and put me back on hold. I finally reached, more than likely the one and only person who works at this company, and he asked me for my confirmation number. After I gave him my 4 digit conf. number he asked me what this number was. I then read the order confirmation e-mail, which listed the number I had just provided. Finally the person confirmed that I did not order the battery. Told him that I have my resources for batteries. Then he confirmed that it would take 6 - 9 weeks to ship the camera I orders. When I ordered the camera the website stated a 8 - 10 day lead time! I cancelled the order and contacted my credit card company to alert them of this scam!!! I wish I would have checked this company out before I placed the order!

- My complaint is similar, only I wound up getting the camera and paying $75 for amounts to $10 elsewhere for a battery and charger. This place is a total scam and its sad that these assholes can continue to lie and cheat the public. I notified American Express, but all they do is set up a letter writing complaint. I will continue to provide information on this fradulent activity as they continue to rip off the unsuspecting public and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it, to include the credit card companies.
