I received a letter and a check from Starcom Sweepstakes.In the letter it told me I had one first place in a sweepstakes amounting to a lump sum of $100,000.00The check was for $2565 to pay for certain taxes and fees.I was to do nothing until I spoke with Mrs Elizebeth Troyer at 1-450-369-0402.I called her .She told me to deposit check wait un till it cleared and call her back and she would tell me what to do.The check was written in a Citi Bank.My bank did not put hold on check so it was released the next day.I got money out of bank called Mrs Thoyer.She told me to go to wal mart get a money gram and send it to Sean Murphy in 10 minutes.She told me if they ask any thing tell them it was for a friend who had damage done by the storm.I did all of this .On Thursday Mrs.Thoyer called and told me the rest of the money would be hand delivered sat. between 6 and 7.Sat the bank called and told me the check was a fraud.
