Purchased cheap video game on iPad for grandchildren with Capital One MC -- $2.50 charged by HCTCSupport.com. A few days later another charge appeared on same MC account for $39.95. Called number; waited for more than 5 minutes listening to horrible music; no answer. Called several times over next week or so; sometimes got busy signal (that's what happened when Capital One fraud personnell called). Then Capital One refused to honor their so-called fraud insurance because I couldn't prove that I didn't authorize the charge.
I suspect that the game offered my grandson the opportunity to buy something else (an upgrade or extra "bullets" for the game or whatever -- we saw a few such requests while he was playing; told him to always say "no" or "cancel" , but maybe he blew it once. He is only 7; but we never authorized any additional payment).
