i filed police reports and have talked to bank of america reps on several occassions since this has happened

after i was conned into giving my banking information to people i thought i could trust, bank of america is now trying to hold me responsible for something absolutely bogus

first off let me say that i was only partially conned by the thieves because i gave them NO CREDIT CARD INFO, only a checking account debit card with ZERO BALANCE / NEGATIVE BALANCE in the checking account and $2 on the savings account

sounds like they shouldn't be able to take out anything but that $2, if even that since the account owes the bank $80 (mostly overdraft fees)

with that account info, the bank let them overdraw my account over six thousand dollars before closing the account and telling me im being held responsible

that is absurd. ive filed a police report a month ago and it is still under investigation

this is not only the fault of the thieves, it is the fault of bank of america

A SAVINGS ACCOUNT IS NOT A CREDIT CARD!
