As I was looking around craigslist for a new laptop. I ran across an ad with the website "www.ex-bulk.com", so I went there to check it out. I was surprised and excited when I saw a lot of items being sold at a cheap price. There was a deal, that if I buy 2 items, I can get vip price. Then if I buy 3 items then shipping was free. So I bought 3 items, 1 macbook and 2 dvd player, and it turned out to be $469.00 , so they said if I paid it within the day, theyll hook me up with a free ipod touch 4th gen. I was excited, so I went to my local walmart and sent them the money via moneygram. I emailed them the information, so they can get the money. They sent me a confirmation email telling me they have received the money and that I would be getting my items within 3-5 days. But when i asked for the tracking code, they never gave it to me, they told me that the shipping agency had it. A day later when I email them again, they told me that my items was in custom. That when I started asking for a refund but they refused to give it to me because my item "was in custom". Then later on I emailed them again, asking them to PLEASE send me my refund but they never did. When i took a closer look at the website, I realize they didn't do such a great job editing their "customer's feedback" because on one of the customer's feedback, it mention "www.honorfirm.com ". When i went there to check it out, it was basically the same site. I filed a complaint on ic3.gov but never got a replied from them. I was very sad that I lost $469 due to a scam, and that was the first time ever getting scammed. I also tried going to walmart and having them call moneygram to see if they can possibly refund my transaction but since the scammer already picked up the money, they told me it was too late.
