I received a check in the mail today for the amount of 1872.00 that said it was for secret shopping. It said to deposit the check in my account and wait for it to clear and take 350.00 out for myself and the remainder to take out of my account and do the secret shopping with it. When I went to the bank that it was written off of to cash it the bank manager told me that it was counterfeit and made a copy of my I.d. and I apologized and explained what happened. I was so humiliated. I should have known it was a scam.
