I get a call on 11/8/12 saying I have won a $1000 Walmart gift card. I sign up for their 5yr magazine subscription plan @ $19.95 a month for 24 months...under the impression that, that was all I had to sign up for to recieve the gift card. At no point during the call did they tell me I had to go to another web site to get the gift card. So after waiting 2 weeks expecting the card to come anytime, it never comes. I call them and thats when they tell me I can check the card status on finedeals.net. To my suprise its a web site that you have to sign up for more deals to get the card. Not one time did GSS mention this when I was on the phone with them the first time. So then I tell her I want to cancel my subscription because I was not every given correct information and she tells me I am past my cancelation period, and all she can do for me is give me 15% off of the remaining balance...which is around $300. This is a total scam. They lie to you to get you to sign up for their 5yr plan and while your waiting for your gift card...little do you know your time to cancel is running out and they get your money anyway!
