I was surfing the internet looking to buy a Kindle and saw a site saying I could get it cheap through auction, namely 'Bidrack'. I was viewing the site and wanted to know more of how it worked. They asked me for my credit card #, I thought this was just all part of registering before any commitment, all of a sudden I got an email saying that I had just purchased $99.00 worth of bids. I did not know that I was buying bids. I thought I was going to get more info before I decided to purchase or not. I immediately requested a refund, via email and telephone. Bidrack refused to refund my money (due to our policies as stated in the terms and conditions you agreed to). I don't recall agreeing to anything. The layout of the page is confusing and misleading. I called again and they agreed to reduce the bid amount to $27.00. My credit card was credited $72.00. I subsequently called my credit card company and they wiped out all charges, but Bidrack charged my credit card again, the very next day! I thought it was futile and figured it could have been worse. I decided not to fight it anymore. I racked it up to a lesson learned.
