I was the 'lucky winner' of a holiday in Orlando, florida, with extras such as accommodation for 3 others, free rental car, free cruise in the bahamas. However, they required a payment by visa card of the above amount, which they claimed was a fraction of what it would cost if self-booked. They misrepresented what was involved, i.e. said , meals were included,(1), and that they had been operating as a reputable company for 40 years. Lots of pressure applied to myself and husband, and no time to consider the deal.
After thinking it over, we think we could have done alot better through a travel agent, and have serious doubts that there will ever be a trip eventuating, they are difficult to contact.
Have received one confirmation email, which said we had booked for travel in February. We hadn't set any dates at all.
During the initial contact they reeled off 2 or 3 well-known resort chains and said they were part of a special promotion. Lies.
There is no chance of comeback on our part, and we do not think there is a possibility of discussing a refund with them.I did phone their contact number yesterday, and got a fob-off person, who was no help at all.
