Like many of the complainants I was called by a man named Mike Tanner 602-714-8161 and scammed into a marketing ploy for Global Merchant Emporium. I paid $499 US at that time and was told my site would be on the front page of goggle. It was for a brief few hours if I entered a specific url. I then was contacted again and told to stay on the front page I would need to purchase a package for $3400 that would include a link to Amazon and blogging would be done. I refused to play that amount and unfortunately paid $1750 US on Sept 21st. I then was contacted by a man named Tom Summers who sounded intoxicated most of the time we spoke. I did not receive proper receipts and therefore red flags went off everywhere. I have been contacted by Amy Clearwater who claims to be working with Consumer Action that is taking class action against Namaste Group, for $175 to cover cost of postage etc Again this is sending red flags.
How do I proceed further
Jane

  • I had almost the same experience you did (same people). They were to blog on my site for the life of the site and nothing has appeared since Sept 29/12. I am contacting my credit card company but usually don't get anywhere with them.

  • Jane and Frances, my story is about the same and the same Mike Tanner involved. It is a very nasty scam with lies and tricks. My bank is helping me stop their nonsense. They were not answering my calls or e-mail, I only got their attention when I had to threaten them. They passed me over to another guy and he said your website won't go anywhere because there was things missing on it and it wouldn't go any where with out putting more money into it. I didn't have no more to give, then a few weeks later another guy called and said he wanted to help me too.He wanted a $1,000 more. Here am I trying to get extra income and their just trying to take away my savings. I have not made a penny with this, I wonder how much they made? They are rebuttling the fraud case and asking to dismisss the case so they can continue working with their client..What a joke, they haven't done anything for me, except play games with me and lie...Don't let them get away with this, how many more people will fall for their tricks.
