Today I received a call from a person called Colin telling me that my computer was full of viruses and needed to get it sorted. He pointed out that I had several dangerous errors and advised me to buy better software protection at a cost of £149.99 and to put £99.99 down and pay rest at a later date.
I refused and said could only pay £49.99 at present.
We agreed and when I tried to call back no was unobtainable.
My advice is to check, I phoned my bank immediately once I found it was a scam and hope to get a refund.
