My grandma received a letter from her bank stating that someone had issued a false check in her name for the amount of $447.34. They also sent a copy of the check that had attempted to be processed, the account # and routing # were correct, but other then that the other info wasn't correct on the check and thats how her bank caught the problem. Thankfully they are taking care of the issue without my grandmother having to worry.
