I have to say that I emailed the person for the item in craiglist. This is the email I receieved:

Hi,
I am getting back to you regarding the 55-inch Sony LED 3D TV, 1080p full HD from Craigslist
My name is Terence and I am now in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The TV is still available and I hope you are still interested.
I work for Sony and I was able to get this at a discount but I don't need it anymore.
I am selling the TV for $300 US. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
The TV is in good shape, no dead pixels, no scratches, as you can see from the pics I've sent. Included in the $300 price is everything the TV came with when it was new, including the original manuals and warranty papers.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it. So what do you think? Do you want my TV?
Thanks,
Terence

I asked him about shipping charges and I received an email where he wrote this:

Hi mate,
Yes, I will cover the shipping charges.
I was checking for a way to make the exchange from here to you in the US
and I came across this option, which is a very good way to make this
exchange.
It's provide by a company called RapidParcel and it will help us with
this transaction.
They seem designed specifically for internet transactions, they handle
both the payment and delivery part of this transaction. They seem pretty
nice and trustworthy and they provide a service that we can use for our
exchange.
The link below is from RapidParcel website and it explains their
procedure. Please check the link and the procedure and let me know if
you agree to the terms.

With this procedure RapidParcel will deliver the TV to you, receive your
payment and I will receive the payment for the TV only after you
instruct them to do so.
Let me know if we can proceed.
Thanks.

I received an invoice from RapidParcel with an order number, details about item, delivery and the instructions for payment.

I went to Western Union, sent money, emailed the info RapidParcel requested: MTCN (western union 10 digit money transfer control no.), Payment sender name and amount transferred. ([email protected])

Then I received an email from RapidParcel that Western Union confirmed the payment and the delivery will be on Nov 19, 2012 9:00am Fedex Epedite Freight Services.

No merchandise recieved yet. I emailed RapidParcel to the email address ([email protected]) and no response yet.

I recieved another email today about other merchandise from another seller in craiglist. But this time I didin't ask for the item on craiglist. This email shows me that there is a possible new scam in craiglist and they are using RapidParcel and Western Union to receive the money (money in minutes)read it:

Hi,
I am getting back to you regarding the 27-inch iMac from Craigslist

My name is Brady and I am now in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The iMac is still available and I hope you are still interested.
I am selling the iMac for $500 US. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
It's 3.10 GHZ i5, has 16 GB of RAM, 2 GB of Video Memory, 2 TB of storage and another 256 GB SSD so it can boot faster.
I work for Apple and I got it with a discount but I don't need it anymore.
The iMac is in perfect shape, as I used it only for a few weeks. Included in the $500 price is everything that came with the iMac and also the warranty papers.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it. So what do you think? Do you want my imac?

Thanks,
Brady

As you see it’s the same letter format from the first email I received.

RapidParcel should investigate this ASAP! It’s their company name and reputation in stake here.

The Vancouver website has to be a false website because the link to it is in the invoice they send.

Please, everybody who read this pass the word.
Thanks!
