Received Text Message with message “Your entry last month WON! Go to TargetContests.com enter winning code 3847 to claim your FREE $1000.00 Target gift card within 24hrs.” I have shopped at a Target store recently so I thought I had entered automatically somehow with a purchase. I went to the web siet and entered may name and address as well as cel phone # and proceeded through their series of Steps to clam gift card pages. When I arrived at the section where I had to buy items from their preferred vendors I knew something was not right! If you win a contest then you shouldn't have to buy anything to clam it! Immediately I stopped the process and now I'm concerned as I provided these CREEPS my Name, Address and cel phone #. I hope I'm not now on some massive scam database now! What recourse do I have to stop this? Partially suckered by these Scammers as I didn't purchase anything.
