I was sent a text at 12:21am stating that my 'entry last month has WON!' Go to the website to claim your $1000 Target Gift Card within 24hrs. I feel I would have realized earlier it was a scam if I was not half asleep. It also came to my phone, and I've never gotten 'scam messages' on my phone before.

I did go to the website and gave them my address, personal name, e-mail and confirmed my cell number.

I stopped before they tried to get me to sign up for $9.99 per month cellular subscription.

Won't lie, I was really excited and freaking out TOTALLY believing this until I got that far in the internet 'claiming' it, before my common sense kicked in.

I'm embarrassed but mostly concerned that 1. My personal info is in jeopardy. 2. Even MORE gullible people out there that are WORSE, could get this and end up in far more danger.

  • I simply would like this scam to be put to a stop. I want my information and phone number wiped from their system. I don't want other people to be targeted by this Target scam.
