Like so many others, I discovered Robert Berg and Mike Greene by replying to an advert on Freelancers website. Mike wanted to talk using Skype, which I did, and he went over the idea of listing for sale Toms shoes on the Ebay.com website. He was to furnish the details and instructions - which he did. Received a very good response, and all instructions were complied with. Then the fun started. Delivery was supposed to be 10-15 days (I'll excuse Mike for saying working days, but usually he would just say 10-15 days), the latest for orders was about the end of September. The first few orders were sent out, and I got word back that he had sent out the wrong colour, then the wrong style, then the wrong size. He even managed to send out two shoes of the same foot as a pair of shoes. I was regularly asking him about particular orders (being required for weddings) but got absolutely no responses to these plights. Then folk started wanting refunds. Up to now, at least 32 cases have been refunded (by Paypal and Ebay, supporting consumer rights) - Mike says it is 'their' policy not to issue refunds under any circumstances - I have told him that it was his late shipping of goods that mainly caused the refunds (which I had no or little control over). He also reckons, despite identifying himself as my (and other's) dropshipper, that we have no legal contract - I have told him that legally enforceable and binding contracts can be written, verbal or by conduct - him receiving the monies that I had sent to him (customer money from orders) and then going on to shipping some of the orders I have sent to him (which the monies sent to him belonged to) brought him and keeps him in the contract. He has been told that he must get the correct orders out - something he hasn't done. He has sent the wrong stuff to folk. He even, eventually (a month after the orders should have been shipped out) wanted my home address for returns - as I said to him - the goods were leaving his premises, so his address should go on. No, he disagreed. And as I pointed out to him, I had no Toms shoes stock to send out to people. I eventually released my information to him only in an attempt to get what orders out to the customers. We are now 2 months down the line, and he still has not sent all the orders out. He has had the money, some of that money was from people who had very little to invest in goods like these, but this does not seem to have pricked his conscience. Nor the times that I had to regularly email him asking about two particular orders of shoes that were required for two weddings - he was sent the orders as they came in, which was in plenty of time for the wedding days - I told him on several occasions that they were for weddings, and the customers did not receive their goods.

This has been the most disgusting experience I have had. I used to trust people on the internet, but now, thanks to Mike Greene and Robert Berg, I will never trust again.

I hope that these people are caught up with.

I have been in touch with our Office of Fair Trading to report his activity and hope that I can find similar over in America.

I know that I am not the first to fall foul of these people's activity, especially Mike Greene's, and I won't be the last.

I found these entries just after I had started dealing with Mike Greene, but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. This, as well as my energy, has been wasted on this waste of space.

My Ebay and Paypal are now well and truly trashed thanks to this man. Before then they were more than healthy. I wouldn't mind but he started to tell me about his ailing mother-in-law, my heart went out to her and him and Lynn, his wife. I told him that my Ebay was something I called after my own mother who passed away - this still has not stopped him from wrecking.

I hope more people research Mike Greene before contracting to work for him, list goods for him. And I hope, more than anything, that he is caught up with, and appropriately dealt with.

For my part, there has been a positive from this - but Mike Greene will never be part of it.
