I was online when a pop up box came up which I responded to. Like an idiot! The person talked me into using my credit card to get a loan to start a business. I had to sign something, which made all my attempts to get my money back, futile. The scammer told me that I could get a business loan for 0% interest for 1 year, that Obama was offering to new business owners. A few weeks later, the scammers assistant called me and told me he had been fired and that I should not give him any money. I had already done it. The money was supposedly for advertising for the business. He got fired for making outlandish claims of what the business could do, and just plain lying (about the business loan) and other things. The business went no where, they would not give the money back. My Visa card, Capital One also would not give back my money. The reason, I had signed a piece of paper. I was totally scammed when I signed the paper, I wasn't aware there was a SCAM GOING ON. Not sure why that would make my money not refundable from Capital One. I had to pay it with my retirement account money. Then, pay taxes on it. I tried the Dept. of Justice, wrote many letters to Visa, hrs. of phone calls, to no avail.
