Starting sometime in July I started to get these phone calls from (321)409-6055 and each time I would ignore them. On August 8, 2012 I decided to answer the call. It was from Sunset Publications telling me that I was eligible for a discount on a magazine that I was already subscribing to, so I gave them my information, including my debit card info since they claimed that was the password to access my account. After, I hung up the phone; I realized that I didn’t know which magazine subscription they were talking about. So I went online and I searched for them and then I found this site. The next day I redialed the number to cancel but I got a recording claiming that the number has been disconnected, so I called my bank and canceled the debit card and put a stop to all payments to sunset publications. However, I guess I wasn’t fast enough because the next month when I got my bank statement in the email there was a debit card purchase under Sunset Publications for $119.90, which was more than what they originally claimed they would take out (I believe the first payment was suppose to be around $50-$60). I figured this was the end of my ties to Sunset Publications, however, in October I received a phone call from them again claiming that I was post due on payments and that if I didn’t pay they would take me to the collectors. Then on November 4, 2012 I received a letter from Sunset Publications claiming the same thing. Now I’m starting to wonder if this is legit or not.
