i was contacted and was led to believe that they we contracted by ibm to to cure virus problems created by my computer to the ibm servers i was connected to. so consequently i sign on un suspectingly. then this last sunday , november4, 2012, i was contacted by a technician who did little to identify himself and was told that the us government had instructed them to refund my money. the refund was to be done over the internet to my bank using my discover card through western union. that did not work. then they wanted to go to my bank directly and that was set up. i was to wait while i down loaded a progran that allowed then to control my computer remotely for purpose of expoditing the transfer. as i was waiting i got a call from discver card fraud management about the western union charge. he told me it was a scam and he immediately cancelled my discover cards. so as a result i got scared and cancelle the program that had not completed the money transfer to my bank since now i am totally exposed. now all i want is a chec from these people in the amount of the $139.00 and the assurance that they will not be allowed to do business in this country again.
