I bought what I thought was a new Nikon Coolpix AW100 from AJ Richies in April. In September the camera fell 2 feet off of a cooler and the screen cracked. I was surprised the screen cracked so easily because the camera is shockproof up to 5 feet. I contacted AJ Richies to find out more about the warranty. I was given the number for customer service. I called, left a message, but never received a call back. I tried calling multiple other times and never got anyone to answer. I tried talking to a sales person and they would not help me get someone in customer service.

I contacted Nikon, told them when I purchased the camera and they said it was covered by the warranty so to send it in. Then I got an email back from Nikon with a bill of what it would cost to repair the camera. I was very confused so I called Nikon who informed me that I had sent in a refurbished camera and it was only warranted for 90 days. I’ve tried to contact AJ Richies again about this but I received the same run around and no answers.
