I ordered this product Lipo Slim and the Colon Clense after seeing Dr. Oz and Rachael Ray videos for free trial with paid shipping of $4.99 and $4.98 on October 4th and began to use it once it arrived. It came in the mail 12th, I began it on the 13th, On day 7, (20th) I began getting very ill, with frequent explosive black diarrhea and horrible stomach pains. I discontinued use but it took days to stop. On the 23rd, when I was sure that was what had been making me sick, I called to cancel, letting the rep know the reason. They argued with me and suggested I needed more water, or to only take one pill each day, and when I said I refuse to take something that would make me that sick they finally agreed to cancel.They said the membership was canceled, and gave me a confirmation number. Later they removed $79.98 and $79.99 from my account. I called to ask why, and was informed I had missed the 14 day window as it starts from the date of phone order, not receipt of product...tricky right if it takes 7 days to make you sick and you don't get it until 8-10 days after you order it.
I called for a refund, was answered by rep barely understanding or speaking English, who ultimately offered a 50% refund. I asked for a supervisor. Was informed no supervisors were available and one would call me in 2-24 hours. Next day received a phone call from Steven (rep number SC) he claimed to report directly to OWNER of the comapny, though he would not give his last name or any other identification. He was rude, deffensive, unprofessional, argumentative, and shockingly insulting. He would only offer a 50% refund and I said I'd be telling everone I can about my experience. He said I was threatening him and that would be slander. I intend to be completely accurate in my delivery, and honest. And will look into a class action suit, as I am sure I am not the only one being cheated here. My arguement was that regardless of the trial period to cancel, a product that makes one this violently ill, should be refunded. His arguement that was if you eat at a restaurant and get food posioning, it isn't the fault of the restaurant and you are not due a refund. Nice right? I am amazed at the lack of professionalism of the reps and the sneaky policy of the company.
They have offered only a 50% refund. By way of a check that I am supposed to receive in 2 weeks-30days. No option to send the unopened product back, which I haven't even received the shipment they billed Oct 18th yet and it is the 30th. 12 days for shipping, this is how you get taken advantage. You don't get 14 days to try at all. Highly disappointed, both in myself for falling for this scam, and in the stars supporting it (Dr. Oz and Rachael Ray).
